Lyric "Garden Of Earthly Delights"
Kid, stay and snip your cord off,
talk and let your mind looseCan't all think like Chekov
but you'll be okayKid, is this your first time here?
Some can't stand the beautySo they cut off one ear
but you'll be okayWelcome to the garden of earthly
delightsWelcome to a billion Arabian nightsThis is
your life and you do what you want to doThis is your
life and you spend it all,
this is your lifeAnd you do what you want to do,
just don't hurt nobodyAnd the big reward's here in
the garden of earthly delightsKid,
pick up with another, some will even drop youBut hearts
are built like rubber, so you'll be alrightKid,
swallow but believe us, you won't die of boredomShould
you have to leave us, it'll be alrightWelcome to the
garden of earthly delightsWelcome to a billion Arabian
nightsThis is your life and you be what you want to
beThis is your life and you try it all,
this is your lifeAnd you be what you want to be,
just don't hurt nobody'Less of course they ask you
in the garden of earthly delightsWelcome to the garden
of earthly delightsWelcome to a billion Arabian nightsThis
is your life and you do what you want to doThis is
your life and you spend it all,
this is your lifeAnd you do what you want to do,
just don't hurt nobodyWelcome to the garden of earthly
delightsWelcome to a billion Arabian nightsWelcome
to the garden of earthly delightsWelcome to a billion
Arabian nightsThis is your life and you be what you
want to beThis is your life and you try it all,
this is your lifeAnd you be what you want to be,
just don't hurt nobody'Less of course they ask you
in the garden of earthly delights

XTC

XTC were an English rock band formed in Swindon in 1972. Led by songwriters Andy Partridge and Colin Moulding, their music ranged from tense, jerky riffs to lushly arranged, meticulous pop, emerging from the punk and new wave explosion of the late 1970s. The band failed to maintain popular success in the UK and US, partly because their music was generally out of step with the times. They nevertheless amassed a devoted cult following.
