We are sure you've at least listened to one of them!

A break-up can break our hearts but sadly, it's inevitable. Not many people can go to the altar, saying "Yes" to their first love, therefore, most of us have experienced it at least once in our life. They say music can help you heal it, however, these songs might make you even sadder...

1. "Why Does It Rain" – Darin Zanyar

You might replay it hundreds of times just because of its moody melody. The man in the song just can't believe his lover left him behind, and he keeps wondering why it's raining outside...

Just one question, which might sounds silly to those who are not in that mood, “Why does it rain?”, can break our hearts badly. It's hard to explain why it rains, as well as why we fall in love with someone.

2. "It's Not Goodbye" - Laura Pausini

"Til I see you again

I"ll be right here remembering when

And if time is on our side

there will be no tears to cry on down the road

there is one thing I can't deny"

It"s not goodbye...

"It's Not Goodbye" is one of the two songs ("It's Not Goodbye" and "Everyday Is A Monday") released first in Italy and Spain. The song is from the album "From the Inside" (2002) by Pausini and it is the sweet love song used in the romance movie "Sweet November".

3. "The Day You Went Away" - M2M

They say love is blind and in the girl's case, it seems to be so true. When in love, many fool themselves, stick to a relationship no matter how hurt it is. And when it's gone, it takes forerver for them to move on... Yes, it's sad...

“I remember date and time

September twenty-second Sunday twenty-five after nine

In the doorway with your case

No longer shouting at each other

There were tears on our faces”

4. "Unbreak My Heart" - Darin

The song is the second single performed by American recording artist Toni Braxton, from her second studio album, Secrets (1996). Lyrically, the song alludes to a "blistering heartbreak" in which Braxton begs a former lover to return and undo the pain he has caused. It won a Grammy Award for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance in 1997.

5. "Sorry That I Love You" - Anthony Neely

After a break-up, the two both get hurt, and this song is the word from the one who has to break up first.

“And I’m so sorry that I hurt you

Sorry that I fell through

Sorry i was falling in love with you

I’m sorry that it came true

But sorry doesn’t turn back time.”

The apology is uttered after the love has been already gone. Time can't be turned back, but sorry, I love you...
